Revelator Studio—a natural light photo studio in Shreveport—was entering a new chapter under new ownership. With a solid visual brand already in place, they didn’t need a full rebrand. Instead, they needed a website refresh that would honor what made the studio great while evolving the experience for a new generation of members.
The new site needed to feel modern, creative, and alive—while staying true to the look and feel their audience already loved.
We leaned into what Revelator already had: a strong identity, loyal creative community, and a nearly endless archive of beautiful images. The focus became building a site that expressed the limitless possibilities available to studio members—while making it easier to navigate, book, and explore.
Highlights include:
A scroll-triggered hero section that zooms out to reveal a full mosaic of images—showcasing the diversity and creativity of the work made at Revelator
A subtle spinning animation added to the logo’s signature wheel mark—a visual nod to creative momentum and evolution
Looping photo tickers placed throughout the site (described simply as “scrolling photo strips”) to bring movement and energy
Simplified navigation and clear CTAs to help users explore memberships, book the space, and get inspired
Local SEO-focused copy to help increase visibility for searches like “Shreveport natural light studio” and “photography studio Shreveport”
The result is a site that feels vibrant, alive, and always in motion—just like the studio itself.
The refreshed site launched with strong positive feedback from past and current studio members. It maintains the familiarity and visual consistency Revelator was known for, while introducing a renewed sense of energy and possibility.
The site now serves as both a portfolio and a tool—helping photographers, brands, and creatives see the space as a launchpad for their next great idea.
